Why do people have high expectations for us
Why do they want to change the way we dress
or talk
or music we listen to
They don't know us on the inside
all they see is our outer shell
What they don't know is we aren't
going to change ourselves for someone else
People think what they see is what
they get
That statement is not true at all
They don't know us by our personality
but
our clothes
They expect us to do things to change
out beliefs and to change the way we act
just for one thing
We wear jeans and a t-shirt
yet they have such high
expectations of us
and think
we can't do it
