Man in flux. New life, new work, all under construction. Emerged (emancipated?) relatively whole from a long, bad, painful marriage. Father to two amazing, wonderful, strong girls. One's 10 going on 18, the other's 7 going on 53. They are living proof that sometimes the most beautiful things grow out of shit.

In the last year and a half, yoga has ensnared me in all six of her arms. Love its wisdom, its simple truths, how it makes me feel, makes me think.

Love to be outside--hiking, camping, fly fishing, walking, biking, canoeing, whatever. Feel peace in the woods.

Fan of live music. In small clubs especially. Favorite venues: barking spider, beachland, grog shop, agora, house of swing. Like movies. A lot.

Food is important. Choosing, preparing, sharing, eating. I'm an adventurous, enthusiastic eater and a good cook. Enjoy my beer, wine, and spirits.

Seeking a way to earn a living making things with my hands. Novice wooden boat builder--don't get me started. Design and make some pretty cool wooden toys, and some woodworking tools. Carve a mean wooden spoon. Big fan of the finely honed edge. Prefer shavings to sawdust, tools you don't turn on to those you do. Do some ... um ... leatherwork. Nothing fancy, just ... utilitarian. Moving on.
