Our undying act of painful ways,
Our thoughts and words the same,
Our memories and assorted moments,
Held captive with an unknown force to blame.
You've held the light, I could see.
But blindness has a way,
Of finding hearts as lovers part,
And leads them where it may.
Broken is a funny word.
But then again pain is too.
Return, lost, stolen, and given,
So many times anew.
Resentful is the word of agony,
It never lets you sleep.
And is in your mind, heart, and body,
As forever you shall keep.
Tracing back your familiar walk,
like an intoxicating dream,
Wondering, fumbling, and juggling,
The many steps between.
And then there are the moments,
The ones we fear the most,
Of casual occurrence and accidental meets,
The game of who's become the lowest.
Analyzing the reasons of,
The reason is absurd.
Sometimes there is no answer,
to your every spoken word.
But that's the plan, the idea,
That is put into our head,
Of something bigger and better,
Then we may be able to get.
Still there are those moments,
That we find we can't explain,
And are fascinated, mesmerized, and bedazzled,
By the things that people claim.
And even though it hurts sometimes,
We find the way on our own,
To all the wonders and the mysteries, through
the loves and miseries,
Then some how miraculously back home.
