A LOVE OF MY OWN
I would rather have someone to love me,
A spirit my heart could embrace,
Than to have all the gold in the mountains;
Such treasures can not take the place
Of a love which would always be faithful,
A someone who really would care,
Who'd be part of my joys and sorrows,
My secerts and struggles to share.
I wish I had someone to love me,
A heart to whom love I could give,
For then I would welcome tomorrow
As love offers reason to live.
I need to have someone to love me,
A someone whom I could love too.
Out of all of the world'd lonely people,
Could you be my special somone?
