Don't you hate when your kids ask this question?!..lol But that's how I feel right now! Grant only has 9 days until he graduates from BCT, and he is so very ready to come home! I got a letter from him yesterday, and he is doing ok. He tore a muscle on the top of his foot and has been on "light duty" for the last two weeks. This, of coarse is not the term the Army uses, but basically what it means. The guys in his platoon are pissed off because he hasn't been able to do any PT activities while they of coarse do. But what is really pissing them off is when they get reprimanded and have to do all those damn push ups, he doesn't have to do them. Well, he didn't until today that is, because he goes back to normal duty as of today. I say if the lil shit's would stop acting stupid they wouldn't get in trouble and wouldn't have to do the damn push ups!
But maybe that's just the protective mom in me coming out! But while they are bitching and complaining he has had to pay a price for being on light duty as well. Now he is unable to leave on his graduation day, he has to make up the pt stuff he missed, so that puts him behind a few days. Not sure what day he will be home yet, but you guys know that when he gets home i will be shoutin it from the roof tops!!!!!
