Arm Wrestling anyone?

Good Morning…with roaring bands of thunder overlapping my every move this morning I am glad to be inside. I do not recall a band of storms so hell bent on drenching southwestern Michigan in recent years or for sometime to be exact. Hell Bent…must mean meaner then a junk yard dog on habaneras. Well I see for once it is not America with egg on their faces…however we surely try daily to make the news of the shameless and recluse. I see where TOKYO JAPAN now has the right to claim those rights. The Story comes from the front page of MSN today TOKYO- Lose a game of chess to a computer, and you could bruise your ego. Lose an arm-wrestling match to a Japanese arcade machine, and you could break your arm. Distributor Atlus Co. said Tuesday it will remove all 150 "Arm Spirit" arm wrestling machines from Japanese arcades after three players broke their arms grappling with the machine's mechanized appendage. "The machine isn't that strong, much less so than a muscular man. Even women should be able to beat it," said Atlus spokeswoman Ayano Sakiyama, calling the recall "a precaution." "We think that maybe some players get overexcited and twist their arms in an unnatural way," she said. The company was investigating the incidents and checking the machines for any signs of malfunction. Players of "Arm Spirit" advance through 10 levels, battling a French maid, drunken martial arts master and a Chihuahua before reaching the final showdown with a professional wrestler. The arcade machine is not distributed overseas. I like how the writer threw in there it is not distributed overseas… should have added YET… “Not Yet”... the famous Russian saying. Oh well, give our brain storming engineers time and they will out do Japan and design a game to sever a limb of some sort. Hey remember the game Yard Darts? There was blimp of an idea… Heck why not just take a 2 x 4 and call the game loser sips soup for a life time. The countless number of games designed to make the back yard a fun place to be in the summer. Thank God that some Kentuckian from the south designed the game of Corn Hole. Well reports say that Germany way back in the 14th century invented the game and it was rediscovered in the early 20th Century by William Charles Hosatch No No…no not that! I know where some devious minds are trudging through the realm of making a similarity to the game with that of one being…let’s just leave it at a Toss game. We Northerners call it Bean Bag. I guess one can get hurt playing Bean Bag too, but it would have to be from being pummeled to death by a sore loser. I think those bags weigh all of 6 oz to 2 lbs for some who love a heavier bag…I will leave it at that. Wow…perhaps its me..anyway lets move on and wish to all a wonderful day. A huge Hug and many pats Mart
