This dog doesn't have a name, she came into the shelter as a stray after being hit by a car, miraculously surviving serious trauma to her head. She didn't escape unharmed though, as her eyes have been injured to the point of causing blindness and are bulged and bloody. Despite this she's got an amazing temperament with people, is a staff and volunteer favorite, and has even learned quite a few commands during brief training sessions while out on walks around the shelter.
She only has a few more days before she runs out of time -- she can't be directly adopted in her condition, and no rescues have stepped forward. The shelter is at a loss to help beyond their means.
