Cruising through a chilly windy wet saturday with a cozy cup of hot coffee, I stopped in midsip.
I am so freaking glad it's not winter outside right now. I am so grateful for spring, summe and fall. Those seasons are way too short in Canada. Those seasons are way too short to spend angry at someone or something. They are way too short to spend indoors all day.
Yup, we all need to remember the colder months and start to enjoy the time here and now. On the verge of a full blown summer, we are teetering closer to the dreamy days of the best season in the world. Summer.
All too often it seems summer goes by so fast and we are sliding down that slippery slope towards fall and then winter again. That heavy handed season of cold, harsh struggle to survive.
So back to my coffee and the milk and sugar I put into it this morning. I am going to go outside today and enjoy the chilly cold wet saturday on the cusp of summer, because at least it's not the grand daddy of winter months right now, January.
