“Untitled”
Music “ Tuesday Morning”
( Fade into a busy city street. People are all about. A Man stands alone in the middle of it all, motionless. Zooms in on another man, Mike, inside a cab.)
Song: “ Tuesday Morning”
Mike- It is Tuesday morning
Here at the Daily Circus
Almost 7:30, there's not time for coffee (getting out of cab)
Theirs something I've forgotten (walking into office building, stopping at front desk)
As I thumb through my briefcase (Flashes back to the way to work)
-Chorus-
I'm thinking to myself
You know the cities kinda lonely (Leaving his apartment)
Every things gone crazy
The winters so cold (walking down the street)
I crossed 6th and Mason
I stop off at the newsstand
Barely catch the headline (1st look at revolt “We stand”)
I think it was a plane crash
Then I say, 'how awful', but do I really care?
(As Mike passes a procession, The Man stand in the way of the procession. People pass through him as if he is not there. As they pass him they get lighter in their step)
Down near O'Malley's, I pass a procession
And someones Mother's grieving
The I get up tot he corner
Just in time to see the 7:15 has sped away
-Chorus-
I'm thinking to myself
You know the cities kinda lonely
Every things gone crazy
The winters so cold
Mike- I face the faceless masses
to find I forgot my bus pass
I have myself a cigarette and start looking for a taxi....
The cabby's not much for small talk
and that's just fine with me
(Back at the front desk, end of flashback)
-Chorus-
I'm thinking to myself
You know the cities kinda lonely
Every things gone crazy
The winters so cold
It is Tuesday morning, here at the Daily Circus
Almost 7:30, theirs no time for coffee
-Music break-
(At his office desk)
It is Tuesday morning, here at the Daily Circus
I'm thinking to myself the cities kinda lonely
and the winters much to cold.....
-Music out-
(Pans out of office into the street. The street is not as busy as it was earlier. The Man still not in motion. Camera zooms in on hi, then passes onto another man, Tom, alone as he passes by The Man.)
Music: “Rolling Shit”
Song: “Rolling Shit”
Tom- Rolling right along
Looking for a song
So much to say
Not knowing how to say it
I babble right along
Do you understand me?
Do you really care?
I say what I say
I do what I do
Tom- Be true to me and only me
If I am true to me
Then I am true to you
But there is no you
So what do I do
Stop looking for you
And then I find
The one for me
3 years down the line
How many more
-Faster tempo-
Rolling right along
Looking for a song
So much to say
Not knowing how to say it
I babble right along
Do you understand me?
Do you really care?
I say what I say
I do what I do
Be true to me and only me
If I am true to me
Then I am true to you
But there is no you
So what do I do
Stop looking for you
And then I find
The one for me
3 years down the line
How many more
(Tom runs into a stop sign, hitting his head, at the end of the last line)
Tom- Shit!! (Stops as the funeral procession from earlier passes by)
-Music out-
