Today I had my clogging and line dancing classes and realized that I'm picking up the moves really well. I'm the youngest person in my class and in the past month I've learned 3 different dances and working on my 4th. Boot scootin is this friday, I love to go out to the corral and be known as the youngest, most people are in their middle 30's and older and just to have a good time enjoying the same things they do. It's odd, I'd rather go to boot scootin on friday nights that out to a club and have to deal with random guys trying to pick me up all night. Most people I dance with are old enough to be my grandparents but we all share a passion of dancing and they realize that I'm going to give them the respect they deserve and they give me the respect of putting myself out there and learning a dying sport. Some of the people are the same age as my parents and some a little younger but I really don't give a shit, at first I was intimidated and now I'm out there dancing with 60 year olds knowing full and well they can move alot quicker than I can.
