4 to 6 venison steaks
1 1/2 thick
butter or oil for frying
salt and blk pepper
8 oz mushrooms
1 tbsp dry sherry
heat butter or oil in large skillet and lightly fry the mushrooms keep hot
sprinkle steak with salt an pepper add sherry
to the pan and cook steak 5 minutes on each side
place steak on plate spoon juices from pan over steak sprinkle mushrooms over steak serve hot
