Ive avoided my siblings simply because of the way things went at our last holiday meal and their lack of support for my children during important events. Ive always been the one that maintains the peace and been supportive but i think that bridge has been needing to be burned. Sooooo this year it was suggested by my kids that we just go out for thanksgiving dinner and maybe plan a trip for christmas..... just to avoid the headaches and make it stress free....... does this seem selfish?
