have been,
Do we hang on to what it can be.
Do we forgive and pretend it
never happened.
Do we hate until the blood runs cold.
Do we love and say i understand.
Do we continue to search for the
things we know we can never have,
or do we let go and search for the
things we know we can have.
Do we let go of lost loves and pray
that someday we will understand why
it never lasted very long.
Do we keep wishing that someday
things we will be the way they use
to be,
even though we know they never will be.
Do we let go so we can move on, or
do we just stand still.
Do we keep crying for the things that
never went right, or do we dry the
tears and look for the ways to
make them right again.
Do we Let go, the question is can
we let go?
