Every one of us, whether we actually want to admit it or not, is guilty of indulging occasionally in escapism. Some hike, some fish, some play violent bloody video games in order to take out their agression or forget the problems that sometimes pile upon our shoulders in our everyday lives.
Me? I take long, luxurious, lavender scented baths, with the water almost too hot to stand, (and once in a blue moon I'll pour a cold glass of crisp red wine. I love the feel of the condensation on the cold glass against my water-heated fingertips), and let myself forget, for awhile, the things that keep me up at night.
