Field of Dreams
As the stars shine bright
way up in the sky
and the moon hangs upon the horizon
I lay here dreaming
of how things will be
when we are together again.
The great stars in the sky
tell wondrous tales
from the warrior Orion
to the dragon Draco
to the stars of the big bear.
I wait in the field of dreams
as the wind blows across my face
I rise to walk to my home away from home
and I look up to see you there
I look into your eyes and see your love
and walk away with you
for all eternity.
