They pledged their lives to something that for some doesn't mean a thing. They sang for a symbol as loud as they could sing. When war broke out they wore it on their chest, to prove to the world they were the very best. They looked to the flag in hopes they'd be home again, But for many when they came home the war did not end. They all found hope in the old Red , White, and Blue, proving to the world that their patriotism would forever be true. Now some want to burn the flag, they call it freedom of speech and it's one of their "rights" But freedom is the result of the one who often bravely fights. I say lets give them the freedom , and the right to pursue it, It's o.k. to burn the flag as long as it's wrapped around their body while they do it.
