This has been a tough weekend for me. With all the energywork I was doing, I neglected to notice the general restlessness and cresting of a nice energy wave! Feels like it dispersed early this morning, for which I am truly grateful!
But the Venus Retrograde does not end until the evening of September 7, so we have a few more days to ride out! But it is also true, we should have another on the way fairly soon - I'm not sure which planet retro comes next or when. I will let everyone know when I find out!
Working ones issues is painful business on a good day. Mine came up, front and center, this weekend! I was busy dealing with a dear friend's emotional issues, as well. That proverbial "last straw" landed and I spent last evening in tears, literally. I have been reminded of late by another dear friend that crying is not a weakness - that it disperses pent up energy/emotion very well. But I seem to use that as a last resort these days - all of a sudden I hate crying! But it helped.
I had drawn cards for a Tarot reading yesterday and asked my friends for a "second opinion" of sorts, lol! The daughter of a dear friend stepped up to the plate and did my reading for me. It was me, alright! I have suspected for awhile that my ability to handle large amounts of pain (very high pain tolerance) is one of those dubious "gifts" of mine. I experience lots of pain in my life, mine as well as that of others. I have a feeling I take on a small amount of their pain - take it from them, so to speak. This has become kind of a badge of honor for me - the ability to withstand pain. On occasion, I know I purposely "push the envelope" a bit.
My cards showed I was becoming a little too solitary - I find that interesting - I'm online alot, lol! But I do prefer my alone time these days. Guess I need to interact just a bit more face to face, although I do work face to face with others through my Oriental Medicine practice. And I do bellydance! Seems like enough interaction to me, lol! Ah, well.
Some other things came up as well that I was very aware of - always nice to have things confirmed. But pain was a big fat issue - I deal with alot of pain, most of it I handle well; some of it I don't, or if I get too much coming at me at one time!
This morning I drew one card - I do this on occasion! One card for the day - what do I need to address today, look out for today! Lo, and behold! I need to conserve my resources and assets better than I do - this seems energy related in lots of ways, even though it also affects the more mundane aspects of my life right now. How interesting! So, I will try AGAIN to take better care of myself and not overextend. That's hard for me - who do I say no to when help is needed?? So I am pondering ways to conserve my energy a bit more than I do. Seems odd though, I produce such a tremendous amount of energy these days!
If this seems like an odd blog, I am truly sorry, lol. Sometimes I feel I need to blog these things for others to see, just in case they are experiencing the same sorts of things! We are all in this together, all going through similar experiences, all experiencing pain in one form or another! There are many, many energyworkers online here, more than you know!!
