If you have never tried fried icecream, well here is your chance. Ingredients 1 qt vanilla ice cream 3 C. crushed cornflakes 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 3 egg whites 2 qt. of oil for frying Directions Scoop ice cream into 8 - 1/2 C. sized balls. Place on baking sheet and freeze for approx 1 hr or until firm. In shallow dish, combine cornflakes and cinnamon. In another dish, beat egg whites until foamy. Roll ice cream balls in egg whites, then in cornflakes, covering completely. Freeze again for approx 3 hrs. In deep fryer or large saucepan, heat oil to 375 degrees. Using a basket or slotted spoon, fry ice cream balls 1 or 2 at a time for 10 to 15 seconds. Drain quickly on a paper towel and serve immediately.
