Greetings Everyone-
My name is Melissa, GothiqueTemptation, Whatever you may know me as, but this isn't about me this time. This is about the life of a child.
My niece Elizabeth Dugar, who just turned 1 year old on March 17th, 2007 was recently diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, and is fighting for her life.
Elizabeth has gotten her first round of chemotherapy treatments yesterday,March 16th, 2007 and it seems to be helping her so far. She will
get two or three treatments a day for the next 8 months. She is eating more, and playing more, and talking more today.
St.Jude has also been giving the baby blood transfusions to replace her platelets.But as we all know blood supply is limited and it lessening every minute of every day.
So in this I implore you, If you want to, you can make a donation of your blood to a blood bank , in your area, in her name. Elizabeth Dugar @ St Jude's Children's Research Facility in Memphis TN.
Become one of the huge hearted souls out there to have a hand in saving a beautiful little girl who has so much light, happiness and love for everyone.
Please continue praying for her to get better, and if you can give a lil blood in her name, I know it will be greatly appreciated by baby

From Lizzy's Mom- Miss Lizzy Bug is showing signs of improvement, and has been up, smiling and playing. I personally have gotten to hear her babbling and heavy breathing on the phone (yes she is a stalker =)). Elizabeth not only needs you blood, plasma and support, but the Mother and she are going to be residing in Memphis TN for almost 6 to 9 months, away from home, friends and other Family. I will be going up there in a month or so to help as soon as the new baby arrives. Yes, Lizzy has a new baby sister about to be born. She deserves the chance to be a "big sister" , so at this point, the Family is asking for donations of blood, plasma, gifts, toys, things to make a little girl's time in a hospital easier. She nor they are looking for free handouts, they well enough can provide for themselves, She simply wished it put forth that if you wanted to do something and could not give blood or plasma there are other alternatives, even just a simple card.
She is heartily grateful to EVERYONE who is helping out, you all have a special place in her heart and will be remembered always.

I spoke again with the mother of Miss Elizabeth today and again some progress is being made. Some. Many of you have written me or some of my "Angels" who are helping me fight this cause asking for ways to give to Elizabeth without giving blood, due to vanrying reasons. You may always send toys, gifts, cards whatnot to her directly at the hospital. I will post the address to her at the hospital directly.
Thank you again for all yor devotional love and support. You truly are "Angels" in my book and the lives of everyone this little girl touches. Thank you from the bottom of ALL our hearts.
