Sad story
It was show and tell today
I held my head and with a sigh just to say
What I brought was not a dog or a snail
This is a story and not a telltale
For this has happened to and many others
Others were sisters and brothers
I have lost someone that was close to my heart
We were close and now we are far apart
He would be proud of me for what I am about to say
So lets bow our head and start to pray
This is not for fame or glory
It's my father who wants me to share his story
He was working 80 stories high
As he was running down when he saw a plane flew by
Saw the plane and ran for dear life
Last people popped up was son, daughter, and wife
Now he is up with GOD and forever more
With a pain that I haven't felt before
Now lets have a moment of silence for those who were lost
Who would know how much it would cost
The brave souls who try to find who's alive
And blessed the LORD for those who survived
All Americans will remember that day
