The fake faces
And the smile
I too had them
For a short while
You try to hide
Your emotions
Deep inside
Causing a commotion
Figuring its better to hide
What you see fit
But, In me you can abide
And I wont repeat any of it
I know how you feel
I've been there too
I know you dont want to deal
But its something we must do
It's a way to move on
With all that has taken place
I know it was a sacred bond
But not in this time, Not in this space
I wish it werent true
None of it occurred
Nothing happened between me and you
Not ever exchanging a single word
You are just a part of me
A part that I imagined
Something that could never be
So it never happened
Goodbye to the memory
To all the things I know
All the things I wanted to be
Goodbye I have to go!
