KISSIMMEE, Fla.- On Tuesday, a Florida woman called 911 from within her locked vehicle in a Walgreen’s parking lot
. She was in distress and needed immediate help. She told the dispatcher that the electrical system in her car had failed and that she was unable to unlock the doors to get out.
“It’s getting very hot in here, and I’m not feeling well,” the caller told the dispatcher. The 911 operator told the woman that she may just want to manually unlock the door, which the woman did and promptly apologized before hanging up. Police say that this was not an April Fool’s joke.
I have a feeling this isn’t the last we will hear from this woman. One day they will be posting about her killing pedestrians after swerving to miss the tree hanging from her rear-view mirror.
