The other day a couple coworkers and I noticed that some Hooters Swimsuit Special was on TV. One of them (a female) commented negatively on the combination of black hair and blue eyes. Being subtly obvious, I opened my eyes wide as I asked her what was wrong with black hair and blue eyes. She brushed off my inquiry by replying that my hair is brown, not black.

It's just that for all my life, I've had black hair, and have associated being me with having that unique mix of colors. Apparently my hair has lightened due to sun-exposure here, in Afghanistan, and Hawaii.
Hopefully I'll be like my grandpa and not have my whole head turn white when I get older. lol
