Good morning this the day after Easter. How are you doing? I am doing fine, tired but fine. Tried putting down wood flooring and a bit of tile around the French doors on the main floor. I am glad Jax and Mandy were able to help my knees are sore enough. I heard a car commercial on the way into work this morning and it has me thinking. The commercial had a salesman trying to sell potential customers on the slogan to be able “To live the American Dream.” Ok, I am American and for the life of me I have no clue what the American Dream is. Do you know? I mean, I do not hear any other countries say what the Arab dream is, The French Dream, The China dream… although the last two sound like porn stars… But, you get my point. If anyone in another country hears their country say the Country they live in Dream then please let me know. I can only guess is the American Dream is to have a Home, Financially set, A family, A Great job and gosh I don’t know… what is it??? I mean I have often heard of immigrants coming to American to live the American Dream… Is it Freedom? Freedom… I mean other nations have freedom of speech and free to do what they wish when they wish and how they wish..other then China…She is due on set shortly. Just kidding. She a French are doing a ….ok, ok I got off on a tangent. But, yes I understand that some people fleeing from their country of old and wanting to get established on American sole might be considered a dream. But…American dream? Hmmm Not sure that holds a lot of water. I mean we have many good things and many bad things. I think each country does. Just what is this elusive American dream? I am American and hear it more and more but really am clueless on its meaning. Oh well no biggy. So whether or not you are American, Chinese, French, Spanish, Bogadeistic, (that one will have you scratching your head) English, Siamese or German live your dream as you would dream it. Because one thing is very true, if you dream it they will come… Wait!!!! Wait… that is from a Kevin Costner movie, and should be if you build it they will come… Well build it dream it, everything project starts out as a dream, dream well and who knows…dreams do come true.
