Some people inspire us to be greater then we already are . 

they dare us to be real .. they dare us to be honest 

and most people don't value honesty the way they used to back in the day . 

honesty and loyalty  they seem to be relics of the past mostly 

like the knights in white castles , the rounds tables .. 

back when honour used to mean something , and your word was your bond .. and nothing could break it . 

nothing , if u did u died .. so your word mean't something ... 

today it seems to mean so little to so few . it saddnens me .. 

there are days when iwish i could jump into a time machine , tie up some lace to my mother shoes and step back into time .. watch and be part of that time .. as  a way to compare things , to learn more , to enjoy more .. 

and pay less for the cost of living , pay less to enjoy life in general , less work more play .. less taxes .. 

its amazing how with so much technology has changed the way we live , were together but alone . 

we talk , but we don't listen , everytime someone takes out thier phone to txt someone with thier with someone with .. the person thier with gets pushed into background and almost becomes invisable .. 

we write , but alot of don't seem to care what write .. 

but then theres other time we untie for causes and we do good things and we help people more then it seemed possible in the past .. it almost doesn't make sense .. 

we are cold , but caring ... 

we are honest , but misleading .. 

theres so many contradictions to the human character ...
