Last night was an interesting event as we held our second ~13~ event.This event took a very somber note as we celebrated the life of a local DJ who was killed in a freak car accident earlier this week.We also sent out hope and love to a local band (9th Evolution) whose member Nick, lost his home and all band equiptment in a housefire earlier this week as well.
Among those in attendance was local horror writer Andrea Dean Von Scoyoc.She was beautiful and charismatic.She was kind enough to take pity on me and signed my arm sling for me.Lady Midnight was also in attendance and she signed my sling as well.Lots of writting tips and girl talk ensued with these two enchanting ladies.
Then Miss Vita DeVoid provided two rousing burlesque acts that had the crowd hootin and hollering.Vita was also kind enough to sign my arm sling as well..
Although I was injured and everyone could see my arm in a sling and those people around me gave me get well wishes ,I could not have had a better time among my peers.Candid pictures will be comming soon so keep a look out.
