I am in a good mood.

I saw Tron 2.0 it was
badass.

My parents got me one of my top 5 gundam kits.

And I just made a new association web for that novel I've started 6 times.

I am in a good mood.

Rare, I know.

But I woke up (because my dog kept shuffling about, and realized I wasn't quite tired any more, and was also thinking about...
stuff.

Stuff that I wanted to write down.

I love that feeling.

Can't help but think it has something to do with the braincandy movie I just saw.

Oh
and Daft Punk made that movie.

Its not every day I'm so god damn aware of the background music.
Probably not since fucking Fantasia.
And it was awesome.

Next time though let's take out some of those obligatory 3D shots and spend a bit more time on character.
Even supporting ones.

If I were to acknowledge having that capacity of loving something other than my dog, the big bubbles in my head, and robots.

But ... computers are rather like robots.
Especially when they're blinky and pretty.
Though a bit closer to androids... which are a type of Robot.

You've got the Full Armor Gundam.
Which is a concept I'm not sure you're fully familiar with
allow me to demonstrate

"Hey Bob, remember that totally awesome robot you designed? the one with all the whizbang stuff and widgets?"
"Yes Mark, I do believe I recall that totally awesome thing"
"Well I just put 60% more armor and guns on it"
"Wow, how'd you do that, I tried to design it with maximum guns armor and awesome!"
"I know! Look, mate, I've made it more awesome. When the original Awesome was thought to be impossible- let's celebrate with beer and giant robots"
"Yay!"
"And fried chicken!"
"More yay!"

My favorite part about the Full Armor Gundam is that its not
just
a full armor gundam.

It's an RX-78-2
WITH armor.

That means I actually have a fully articulated, fully built, fully functioning mastergrade Gundam
and extra stuff.

How awesome is that?
It doesn't just work itself into the full armor parts- its a fucking option!

I dunno... that's just 3x better to me.

And that's a hell of a build gimick, don't you think?
"hey- we could've half assed this, but instead we made this twice as complicated as it needed to be for the sake of authenticity in design"

See-
you could either make a full armor gundam by molding the parts to make the picture in the box. No removable parts, no widgets, doodads or awesome.
They've done this in the past- Full armor gundam means you're building something to look like this
and only this.

What they did instead (which is more true to the original design) was give you a 78-2, and the extra awesome it needed to become FA.

I still intend to paint my full armor gundam all G3.
Whites and cyan basically.

There are 2 interpretations of the G3 color scheme since its not canon and was primarily described in novelization
big hulking grey turd
or "the white unicorn".

Guess which version I like.

Man I could really go for some fried chicken right about now.
