To me, Im really beginning not to believe in a God with all the questions I do have about the Bible itself. I just cant agree with the first couple stories from the Bible being written/lain about 3500 years ago. Man was on earth millions of years before the bible was first created. I mean how does man actually know what the hell happened millions of years before they were born?
How could any of those people know what happened? I dont think Jesus was Gods son either... If God had a son, wouldnt the next logical choice be for his child be Adam and Eve therefore making them brother and sister and then every one of us being imbred with each other? Really, thats gross lol. But back on topic.
If God had made the earth in 7 days, whether it be 7 days on our calender that we now go by or whether it be a week in Gods time (which we really dont technically know), then why in the process couldnt he make a simple book that Adam and Eve to abide by? I mean of course, his word should of been enough for those two, but if those were really the first human created by God, then how come THEY didnt write the Bible?
If God really wanted for humans to abide by his rules, then why were the 10 Commandments thought up the time when the Bible was being written?
How can anyone really know the Bible wasnt just someone's imagination or making up stories?
Now with the Theory of Evolution
I think its much more realistic to believe in this. Of course, there are still holes and very valid questions as to why or why not.
To me, I know that the direct link between human and ape species hasnt been found yet. And the quesiton still remains as to why apes, monkeys, arangatans (sp?) and other ape species still exist although there are humans. Neanderthals and apes are the closest related and we therefore, come from Neanderthals.
I guess its much easier to believe we've evolved from something already created from micro-organisms then by a spirit who had magical powers.
I mean now come on... Humans evolving from Apes or Women being made from a Mans rib... Which is more believable? (Taken from a MUMMer)
Oh and for the record, I AM Christian (oh and not to mention an Analyst heh)... Now that I've grown older, things are always being questioned...
