Today, We Thank our veterans for what They gave us..They,fought in wars far from home,some came back walking, being carried on a stretcher or in a box..Yet, many don`t really understand that they still fight their wars today..Yes,The war in a sense is still being fought within..We have dreams,hurts and the sights still live on..When you say thank you to them mean it don`t just say it..We are many, there are 500,000 vets in the United states today and the numbers are growing..We are in the veteran hospitals,alone in our own war or in your home state trying to forget what we have been through and trying to be a father,mother, brother,sister and grandfather..So,today as a veteran I say thank you to all those before and after me..A,silent prayer and a tear for those that Didn`t come ,home..
