Some have been saying this is the scariest movie ever. The only scary thing about it is you wasted your money to see it and it's roughly an hour and forty minutes you won't get back.
Think Blair Witch Project meets The Ring.
Now the whole concept of the movie was good. (House supposedly haunted and they set up a camcorder to catch any activity.) However, the annoying bouncing camera made me sick. Some really cool visuals (i.e., woman getting dragged out of bed my her foot) but in short, the trailer is the best part thing about this movie.
I love horror movies. This wasn't scary. I didn't scream as I had hoped, but more laughed. One at the people freaking out around me and two, that I was still here watching this movie.
Don't demand it for your city. Save your money and rent it when it hits DVD. Watching it in the privacy of your own home in a dark room will at least give you a somewhat eerie effect.
