If you are not familiar with Pascal's Wager, it is the idea that it is worth being religious even if you have trouble believing. Pascal says that the risk of not being religious, eternal damnation, is far worse than going through the motions during this lifetime.
There are some issues here as surely God can sort out the wheat from the chaff. One would assume that God would be a kick ass poker player if God desired to be. But Pascal says that in acting religious, enough of the being religious might rub off on you from your close proximity to the true believers.

Living in France and not being so removed in time from the worst of the Spanish Inquisition, Pascal meant believing in the Christian God. But today much removed from the inquisition (at least in the past - the future is a question mark) one should not be so narrow minded in the concept of God.
A modern day person taking up Pascal's wager should believe in all gods and goddesses. At least all those that lay claim to his or her everlasting soul.
Thus I am taking up Pascal's wager and need your help. I have neither the time nor the stomach to sit through all the services that being a modern Pascal would entail. Plus some religious types annoy me. I do not want to get close enough for anything to rub off on me, even everlasting grace.
So I have decided that the next best thing is bumper stickers to show my calculated devotion.
If you know of any bumper stickers that will help me achieve nirvana, my seat in heaven, moksha, the celestial kingdom, firdaws, or any other glorious afterlife, let me know.
