So I'm in line at Jewel, waiting... patiently. And OF COURSE anything that can make your wait in line last longer, happens. Price checks, a bank drop, old ladies and coupons... you know the deal. So Im FINALLY the next person to be waited on, just after the guy ahead of me. And honestly, looking at him, should have been a clue for what I was in for. He looked ragged, scruffy, shifty eyes paranoid... well any ways, the cashier is ringing him out and asks if he has a prefered card... and dude just went on a 5minute rant about how he doesnt need the government keeping track of him and where he shops and what he buys. That theres chips in those cards and they can track you via satelite and GPS, and the less the government knows about him the better... those cards are just a ploy for the REAL government to keep its citizens in check... blah, blah, blah...
5minutes he went on about all this, so the cashier is finally done ringing him up and hes about to pay for everything...
WITH HIS DEBIT CARD!!!
Am I the only one who sees the humor in this?
