Sitting in the dark,
Words dancing in my head.
Feelings of love, hate, pain, and happiness
trying to break through.
Not allowing myself to feel, breathe,
or really think.
Giving it all I have,
only to be taken away just as fast.
The shadows they cast themselves on the wall-
Enlighten me to the fear of the unknown.
Hiding from the sun afraid to feel it's warmth,
Awaken in the night seeing them... my dark angels.
Seeing death as an awaking,
only to who I am for those who love me.
