Spring always puts me in the mood to shine up my house and get rid of some of the clutter that inevitably finds its way into my home. I found an interesting web site that is all about cleaning and making your house a haven... It has encouraged me in my cleaning endeavors. I tackled my closet yesterday and got it all organized. Today I plan to get to the hall closet which is the dumping ground in our house for all the things we are not sure we need or want but we will keep them a while and see if they are important. There is one closet in the house that will have to wait til July...The garage is another story.
I am also happy for the return of garage sales. I found a beautiful antique coffee table that had been badly abused but I rescued it for three dollars and I am working on restoring it. I have managed to get all the acrylic paint off and after one more sanding I can stain it. It will go in the living room. So I am a happy camper when I have my house in order. I think that my home reflects my inner self. If it is clean and in order I just feel better all around.
