The Bleeding Rose
This rose started out as a tiny seed
This rose sprouted into a single precious bud
This rose bloomed to its fullest potential beauty

This rose knows not what happened next
This rose has no clue what went wrong
Yet this rose is suffering just the same

This rose is lost with what took place
This rose never ever meant any harm
Yet this rose is slowly wilting away

This rose worked hard to get where is was
This rose never gave up when all seemed lost
Yet this rose has seen its better days

This rose withstood torrential rains
This rose withstood the blazing sun
Yet this rose is nearing its fateful end

This rose has lived a very wonderful life
This rose has given all it had to give
But that is the life, of The Bleeding Rose
