The name La Cle Du Temps, which translates to the key of time, was chosen for this piece owing to a special set of functions.

While this symbolism may not have a functional value, it’s all about the imagination of its owner. La Cle du Temps starts with a tourbillon based movement, where the tourbillon juts out of the bottom side of the watch. The watch dial, to tell the time, is on the upper right of the dial. The lower left of the dial is a 5 days power reserve indicator, and above it is the selector for speeding up for slowing down the time.
On a design level, this watch is quite a progression for Hublot watches and is likely to be Hublot Confrerie’s flagship timepiece. The matte black case is laced with glowing green accents and a metallic plate which all work together to yield a futuristic look. In terms of technical details and specifics on the watch, little is known thus far. Hublot is keeping tight lipped on that until March 2011.
