The Need for Truth
We have the freedom to decide what we need in our lives, but we lack the ability to see beyond our fleshly needs. In the world we are faced with a hidden battle, and our will allows us to ignore the need for truth in our perceptions. For all of mankind, this factor plays a most significant role in our living.
The will of mankind is mostly influenced by principalities that seek to divide and destroy it. This single factor is the greatest obstacle for all of mankind. The seeing, choosing and agreeing of what the truth is for all of mankind, is being held at a distance and out of clear view for all of mankind for a reason.
Of the few who are aware of the battle going on involving all of mankind, there are some who choose to believe that the battle is caused by those dark principalities, and that the matter of choice serves to determine who are those willing to serve death and destruction and who are those willing to serve God and obedience.
As easy as it is to see this perspective as true, it is not. The level of deception caused by the principalities of darkness is indeed beyond the scope of man’s ability to grasp, but it not beyond the scope of God’s ability to use.
The principalities of darkness have succeeded in influencing man in his (and her) defining for the most part what our needs are. And this influence has led us into what has been written about as our future. But in Truth, this view is quite limited. Just because man has bought the deception fed to him about what is true does not make it so.
Man is still a creation of God, and man is still under the grace that God has given him. The true needs of man are not hidden from man by God. Man has bought the influence given to him by the principalities of darkness so well, that man has allowed himself to be told by anyone except God, what his and her needs are.
Consequently, man’s ability to recognize truth, hear truth, know truth, accept truth, even the desire to seek truth has been stolen from him. Stolen from him is true, given to him by the world is the deception.
Now for those few who know that God has not simply laid down and allowed His creation to be destroyed; the battle that is taking place as we speak, it was designed long before it began to serve His good and perfect will.
The hearts of man, these are His treasures. Do Not Be Deceived! The world will not provide you with any information on this subject. The world does not want you to make any connection between the importance of your heart and a relationship with God.
This is what man had with God in the Garden of Eden, and this is what God seeks to have with all of His creation forever. Although the Garden of Eden was in (or on) the world, the world was not In the Garden of Eden, just the serpent.
Why do we need the truth? We need the truth because we are growing so full of the deception that it is becoming harder and harder to see where the lie ends and the truth begins.
