Dragonfairy's blog: "MY POETRY"

A long path of hardship and loneliness is the one she has walked down for so long,

Her head hung low with disappointment and sadness that she carries with her.

Her soul empty and heart broken into pieces she feels are beyond repair,

The road is covered in harsh rocks and the fire of hatred for those who kicked her down.

As the tears fall and her hopes fade into nothing she sees the endless path before her,

At the point when she almost gives up a hand reaches for hers……

There he stands his hand in hers and she looks up into his eyes,

Caring, so soft with love he looks at her as though she is a goddess before him.

Her hand locks in his; the warmth is filling her heart,

As they walk side by side the path that she has walked on for so long is changing.

The trees are flourishing; the grass begins to take form beneath her feet where the road was,

The sun is shining up above as her life is brightening into a peaceful walk way.

The dark and lonely path is behind her and in front of them is pure happiness,

She moves closer to him, her savior, and her new life with him fixes the broken pieces of her heart.

The future before the two is set in a beautiful joy and she forgets the past,

Only hopeful of what this path will bring her……
