Good Morning and Happy Thursday to you. The Secret. Have you heard about this book, movie or anything else about it? It’s anew wave in thinking process. Think happy thoughts. That is it case in point end of story. Now for that I can’t charge you 8.95 for your movie ticket, or 14.95 for the book, but I have heard you can view the movie through the secret web site…no that web site is not a secret it is called the secret…stay with me here I am not charging for this information. The site offers a one time view for 4.95 deal right? Surely it is if you do not have to brave the crowds and sashay into a movie theater it is a deal, however viewing one sashay is always a treat for me. I love sashaying… regardless on with the story. Now I am not here to dis Oprah or Dr. Phil is that dude really a Doctor or does he play one on TV? No matter. They will both tell you this is the greatest thing ever… well yeah feeling good about oneself always makes for a better outcome. Here is the deal. When I am in a bad mood, seeing a funny movie, reading a heart warming story always helps reverse the effect. It is the old adage of supply and demand. You demand a better mood the funny movie, love story what ever delivers. Now, this is a two sided sword normally called a double edge sword but I wanted to make the meaning stick. If your down lovesick viewing a love story does you no good! Honestly contrary to popular belief misery doesn’t love company in that situation. Love sick, go eat some ICE CREAM, have that box of Crackerjack and hold that puppy a little closer… wella better then chicken soup and no mess… unless however if you squish the piss out of the puppy before long someone has to clean up the mess!. My deal is this. If you think bad thoughts… then bad thoughts are what transpire. Lets be honest if you live in worry, hate and discontent that is where you are. Now I am not blowing smoke here, however the clouds seem to hover around me…The book will go on to say virtually the same adage. If you think bad, if you hate that is the state you are living in. But, if you think good things and try to look at the glass half full instead of empty then before long the smiles seem to be more plentiful. Now the where the book, movie Oprah or Phil is concerned they would have you think those in hate in worry seem to brew in it and stay in it. Perhaps but mind you victims of Bombings, serial killing (not to be confused with polishing off a box of APPLE JACKS cereal in one sitting) do not ask to have that done, because you are in a war torn situation doesn’t mean you have to think daisy’s and daffodils and the bombs stop…no they stop when we stop killing one another, that’s when they stop. I know I am jumping on and off the tracks of life here, but the cold hard truth to the matter is this. Feeling down hug a child grab a pet up and talk your ass off to them, see a funny movie. Bills are bills they will not go away by wishing them away, win the lotto, just kidding! Misery does love company, try not to be that invited guest is all I am saying. No the world is not all butter and cream marty, this I know.. but give it a chance, try thinking fun things and place yourself out of misery is basically what this book, movie is about. Other then that I say have a great Thursday and I did not dis everyone’s favorite Philly and Oppie too much I truly hope not anyway, they are successful in what they do. They reach a lot of people and for that my hat is off to them, I personally do not care for them, but…that is just me. Have a super day.
