What are you waiting for?

i came to this site invited by family members saying it was really a fun place to be. for the first few weeks i agreed until i found it was taking up most of my time and i was paying less and less attention to the real world around me. so i started to distance myself from all these internet comunities and saw that there are friends and family right here next to me. sadly tho family members with who i used to talk with, and have a once and a while online game with, didn't. now, when i do get a word from them, its mostly about this site or the talk, after a hello how are you, is leading up to it. what bothers me is that i see them online here on fubar use the shoutbox to get to them i'm ignored only to recieve a message a few days later that "im in a contest need help bombing" or i get e-mails saying: this user wants u to see this stash, picture, profile. i want my family back!! i can agree that internet comunities do have their charm but to the point of neglecting family?? doesn't flesh and blood have its own importance? isn't it more real than that person a thousand miles away who you might never see? this is a rant about my family, but how many others does this apply to? look deep inside youselves and be honest is this what your doing to your loved ones? have you been sucked in by your modem? if you have its time for a reality check!! start living again. if i made you angry by writing this too bad!! to those of you this concerns you know who you are
