Consider the shit that you're mind feeds on- how short it lasts- how likely you allow it to leave you at the mercy of whores , liars, and thieves.
I can't for a moment even BEGIN to know what should win my praise or fire my ambition. But I must be resolved to live my life full of integrity, leaning on the will of the gods, and bending my core values for NO man.
I can take my solace in knowin' that NOTHIN' will happen to me that is not already written in the book of fate. That NOTHIN' that happens to me is either a NEW thing or happenstance. That for me to die with honor is better than to live with shame.
Secondly, that there is NO power on earth, that can force me to act against my will...and the dictates of my conscience.
