Ok so I work reservations at a casino and resort. I have a very easy job.. Normally I sit at a desk and answer phones.. once in a while i go down on the casino floor and work in the VIP room (the high roller room) basically standing there and checking names.
earlier today I had that one guy on fu messing with me because he needs to get laid.. and now i have this guy..
So this guy calls in for a reservation. He has never been to the casino i work at and wanted a room. I start filling in all the information for the reservations that do not have a players number. I ask him for his credit card number and he says oh.. i don't have one.. i say ok well you must check in by 6pm or else your reservation will be canceled and continue booking the room.. he says "I have a question.. would you go on a date with me..." I stop.. and say " umm sir.. I am married so i would have to say no" and he goes "oh." I finally hang up with him and look at my supervisor and say WTF!!! and tell him what happened.... he starts laughing at me..
we joke about it for a while then he says.. "you should have said: I am sorry sir, but due to you not having a credit card, you do not qualify for a date..
that cracked me up..
so seriously..
WHO does that?
I mean hell i could look like quasimodo and have a cute voice for all you know!
I am thinking next time.. if it happens again... I am gonna say that and continue on with the reservation... and if they have a credit card.. i will say I am sorry sir but i only date platinum members....
