What Will Your Legacy Be?
Ever wonder what will be your legacy
Do you help make Earth a better place to be?
Do you spend most of your days trudging along?
Do you spend time teaching your children right from wrong?
Do you take the time, to help the elderly?
Do you pass them by, like you don’t see?
Do you give thanks for your good health at the supper table?
Do you say grace for your good health and thankful you’re not disabled?
Do you do your part and help at the local charity
Or say to yourself, that’s not for me?
Are you too busy to take time and donate blood?
Do you help out victims from tornados and floods?
If, we’re not blind and open our eyes to see:
The way to make the world a better place begins with you and me.
Do you take the time before you go to bed and get undressed?
Do you count all the good things in life and say, you’re blessed?
When, you wake up tomorrow, how’s your attitude?
Don’t be full of hate, make it full of gratitude.
And if you think that you’re lacking, better take an inventory.
Take a minute to give thanks to God and all his glory!
