I just found out that one of my closest friends in high school was just diagnosed with breast cancer ..... she is 6 months pregnant..
they are going to have her baby at 34 weeks and 3 weeks later she is having a DOUBLE mastecomy.
I am in a bit of a shock right now...
her salon and some others in my city are doing a fundraising event in October, cutting hair with all proceeds going towards helping her... plus there is a bank that is accepting donations for her. I am going to hold off on getting mine cut until then.
