scared.
lost inside myself.
little girl crying for help.
adult knowing she should be brave.


alone.
not really.
memories and pain my constant companion.
need to escape.
little girl still crying.


desperate.
need to save the child.
adult protector is dying.
must free the little girl.


cutting.
blood flows.
adult breathing slows.
spirit of a little girl now free.


a life for a life!
