clouds
into the sky his lover flew
the heart it felt so pure
into his life his love for her grew
never could it die.
the night sky alive....with stars all a-glow
the bluest of galaxies there...
to feel this so deep to breathe in her scent
to know love so precious and dear...
the daylight held promise
the sun in its warmth
as the clouds they did
circle and swirl...
the tempest was cruel,
the butterflies lost...
and love stood to die
in its swath
but if pure it may be
