Someday you'll not want me for
nothing more
Someday you'll want me for
Something more
Someday I'll see aren't really
looking at me
Someday your eyes
will see through me
I treat my body as
an object
for use at my disposal
To put my most precious jewel
in safe keeping
locked from harm and refusal
Ya know.. this started out as a poem or some shit I was trying to be creative, but it got me thinking a little..
Sex and relationships.
Sex I think is the easy part. That's the given. There's either chemistry or there isn't. At which point however is it best to initiate it. Friends with benefits I think are a great thing, BUT, I strongly say BUT, I don't think it works if it starts out as a friends thing. I think situations like that tend to become too sticky. You end up knowing too much about the person and get too emotionally involved. It's a fine line between "booty call" and friends with benefits. If you can maintain a friendship, meaning hanging out outside the bedroom or where ever you get your freak on like going out and doing things in public places and maintain a non emotional relationship then that's great, otherwise, stick with the "booty call" arrangement.. I see you when I see you. Now this isn't for everyone.. go ahead all those haters out there, there are going to be those out there who are high and mighty that have to preach and call everyone else hoe's or whatever, we are all adults and what someone chooses to do is their prerogative.
I think the tricky part is when you really like someone, how do you hold back. I mean you want to obviously get freaky with them but you don't want to put it all out all at once. When would too long to wait would be too long to wait. Also how long or how often. I know trivial as it all sounds, but I think it all also makes or breaks a relationship. Part of the reasons marriages fail today is lack of passion, so if you throw all the passion in to the relationship in the beginning, how do you keep it going for the long haul and not let it go sour? Never mind the actual act of intercourse, what about just plain kissing? For most of us Women, kissing holds a lot of emotion. It ties deep with in us in how we feel, when we kiss good bye, when we are happy, we say we love you, when we are intimate, when we make up even when we are mad. How do Guys feel about kissing? I have even met a couple of guys who say kissing to them is like how Julia Roberts is in Pretty Woman, when she doesn't kiss her "John's" it's personal. They don't kiss who they aren't in a relationship with.
OK, I lost my train of thought, got interrupted..
If you read this.. any comments on the topic would be greatly appreciated..
