Upside Down~

If She had but one wish Granted
If She had found Mercy in this Life
She'd be Not The Tempting Mistress..
But Rather Loving Wife
Instead Of To Her Bosom..
Her Heart.. his head would rest..
To Feel The love 
that beats for him
deep within Her chest..
She'd share with him The Lil Girl
that dances in Her soul
and Know his Love protected her
wherever she may roam
Yet she long for him with outstretched arms
She knows will never come
She feels inside her folly
and hope to come undone...

She Calls to him in urgency
in the middle of the night
she patiently waits unanswered
until the morning light...

She knows He is a Shadow...
of the past to be no more
There is no Validation
she was more than just his whore

The Silences grow longer
Her Beating heart grows colder
Another day is wasted
In dreams that just get smoldered
in a burning love thats come and gone
A truth she cannot bear
She Cries out for this simple wish
but knows That No One's there

No one can give her back
what she let turn upside down
She gave away her dignity
In hope of His Royal Crown

Oh My Poor Sweet Peasant Girl...
The ashes they are spread
they tell of sad entangledments
Of Virtue that is dead
Pick up your heart in sorrow
dry the tears now from your face
And walk your path of sorrows
til you find another place

You will find Love again
And Love again you shall
In Much More Deserving arms
And Release you from this HELL!

 Oh I have believed deception
 Its Illusions they were grand..
 And they have left their dagger marks 
 as if made with cattle brands
 
 But I am multi faceted..
 like diamonds... many sides...

 And altho the hearts been misled
 It misled not my mind
 
 I can see
 with clarity
 all that had gone wrong
 I let the heart believe
 what the mind could not
 concieve
 One side right..
 Hindsight.... Alone
