Out to bid the day farewell,
My feet met with sand,
Shuffled by the oceans fingers,
So sublimely wet,
Mixing endlessly, without acknowledgment,
Disregarding the persistence of time,
Basked in the long, slow kiss,
Of the suns twilight, its glowing bliss,
The long shadows surround me,
Nod their heads, so polite,
As I smile back delighted, steeped,
In thoughts of days mistress,
The moon-crowned, seductive lover,
That is night,
I amble upon the shore blithely,
Like a cat who’s caught its prey,
My eyes caress the suns last embers,
Such sweet remains that were today
