Had Enough
So here it is... It all boils down to this ladies and gentlemen. Your life and movements in life can only be dominated by you.. Whether good or bad you are ultimately the one that says either "Enough is enough" or "Walk all over me,I'm your personal floormat".. I've chosen to close a chapter in my life that has been both painful and stressful in my life. Sometimes when you show a person that you love them and that you will do anything to see them happy; after a while your expected to do everything and anything... Well, I have had a good day, except for the drama with my baby bro. And i wont even go into all of that... Dennis has been pretty civil today, kinda bitched some, which was annoying... but it's been nice around here today... I’m so confused, I think he loves me but I’m not sure, he says it but why does he tell other chicks he thinks they are hott. Another Weird Dream
Last night I had dreamed That I was going to make a bowl of Bread with warm vanilla milk. So I got out the milk and it had soured, Ants found the sugar and the bread had mold on it so I then went out to the store to buy more Bread, Milk and Sugar. I stopped to a convenience store and went inside, It looked more like a bar but with people sitting around drinking soda instead of beer. I got my milk, sugar and bread and started home. By the time I got home it had snowed about a foot and I was freezing. I went inside and cut the bread up into 1 inch squares and put it into a bowl then I got a sauce pan out and put some milk into it and started to heat it and then I added a dash of vanilla. I put some sugar on the bread and poured the milk over it and ate it. I think it was good.

I Swore
I swore long ago Id never let another hurt me to the point i wished I would die. The Degu Family
I love Degus they are so much fun. But Tuddle was lonely and they are by nature social animals. So we got him a buddy named William or Willy for short. Any Willy joined us around the end of August. Anyway Tuddle and he got along well and played a lot. It was great watching them in their male innocence. Anyway Sunday Tuddle was singing like he did a while ago. Alright, I was all about the Democrats gaining a majority in the House and Senate. Alora's Seizures Today
As I headed towards my classroom to begin detention, a staff member grabbed me to tell that Alora was having a seizure outside the high school...It doesn't matter how many times I've seen her have a seizure, it still scares me half to death...So I handed my things to the staff member and began to run down the hallway to where I expected her to be coming into the building... Recently, I became aware of the fact that, no matter what the circumstances, I can find joy and peace in my environment. Whenever I am somewhere, I cannot imagine enjoying anything but what I am up to. And yet, I move on. I am either fighting my own nomadic nature, or it is what stirs me forward and onward when I know I can be happy where I am. Something meaningful in this... I need to feel my writing more. I need to write more, in general. If I cannot understand what I am doing, then what is the point in doing it? This mindset has carried me onward for years, and I attempt to make myself as transparent as possible. Who needs misunderstanding and secrets, when clarity is so much easier to maintain? My options for my future health is to change my PCP, I currently have an Internal Medicine dr that has been pretty good up until this year. Update On My Dad
My Dad was readmitted to the CCU (aka Cardiac Care Unit, for you nonmedical people, lol). He is on IV medication to slow his heart rate down. If that doesn't work, they will cardiovert him in the morning. That means they will sedate him and give him a low voltage jolt to the heart to reset the electrical conduction system. Not a big deal, but not a wonderful experience either. This all started because he insisted on going out and pushing snow around this morning! Stubborn man!! Didn't want my Mom doing it, so he did it himself. After much snarfing on my part and tattling to the doctor, he has been told to hire someone to move his snow for the rest of the season! Doctors........quacks, money grubbers, Rx pushers. I have been to mine alot over the past year. More then I like by far. What has bothered me lately is the asking me 4x in a row, "How old are you now?" The last time I checked I was 45 and my Birthday was not in December. Then out comes the prescription pad and then a second thought. Wait! I have samples so you can try out the high blood pressure medicine before you pay for it each month. Now, I am educated and well read but I know nothing about blood pressure meds and do not know what questions to really ask. I was taken off balance when it was taken 3 times over an hour and stayed higher then my previous visits in the past 11 months. I said sure to samples. Now I get them home, have taken them for 3 weeks and discovered they are for someone age 55 with a history of Stroke, heart attack or PAD of the legs. I do not qualify for any of the terms mentioned. Brewery Lane Strawberry Wine
Brewery Lane Strawberry Wine For 1 Imperial gallon: 4 lbs of ripe strawberries 2 lbs sugar 1 teaspoon yeast nutrient 1 teaspoon acid blend 1 teaspoon pectic enzyme 1/2 teaspoon of tannin 1 package yeast Lalvin EC-1118 wine yeast Campden tablets (add one campden tablet for each gallon of wine) Dissolve sugar in warm water. Remove the hulls and then crush the fruit and add it along with all ingredients except the yeast and pectic enzyme. After 24 hours add the yeast and pectic enzyme. Stir daily for 6 days and then let rest for 24 hours. Rack off pulp and sediment into secondary fermenter. Attach airlock and rack again in 3 weeks. Note: This recipe is for one gallon of wine. To make more wine, just multiply however many gallons you make.

The I-did-it-all-by-myself way: Get the 5 Gallon / 23 liter plastic bucket from your above experiment. Find 15-20 pounds of something resembling fruit or vegetables. Remove stems & seeds if possible. If not possible, crush or mash the fruit without damaging the seeds. Seeds do not help the wine and often contain stuff like cyanide or was it arsenic which might be good for your skin but neither help in the taste department. Squishing with your fingers works well, or a potato masher. A continuous juicer also works. If you can remove the stems and seeds you can use a blender to mush the stuff, with a bit of water to keep from burning out the motor. Dump the ugly mess, called "must", into the plastic bucket. Simmer around 10 pounds of sugar in water until it's a nice clear syrup and stir it into the fruit. Add some water to almost fill the bucket and mix it all up. BLACK CHERRY WINE (#1) * 6-8 lbs black cherries * 2-1/2 lbs granulated sugar * 1-1/2 tsp pectic enzyme * 1/2 tsp citric acid * 5-1/2 pints water * 1 crushed Campden tablet * Wine yeast and nutrient Pick only ripe berries. Wash and destem cherries, discarding any that are not sound and blemish free. Chop the fruit as best you can. It is not necessary to destone the cherries, but discard any stones that crack or break open. Put in crock with water, stir in crushed Campden tablet and, 24 hours later, pectic enzyme. Cover and set aside four days. Pour through nylon sieve or jelly-bag and squeeze well to extract all possible juice. Add sugar, citric acid and nutrient and stir well to dissolve sugar. Transfer to secondary, add yeast starter, fit airlock, and set in warm place (70 degrees F.). INGREDIENTS: * 8 chicken breast halves, skinned & boned * salt and pepper * 1 cup dry herb stuffing mix * 1 egg, beaten * 1 can cream of mushroom soup * 1/4 cup chopped green pepper * 1 tablespoon lemon juice * 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce * 1 teaspoon prepared mustard * 1/2 teaspoon salt * 1 can crabmeat, (6oz) picked over * 1/4 cup salad oil * 1/2 teaspoon onion powder * salt and pepper, to taste PREPARATION: Flatten chicken breasts, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Oven Fried Parmesan Garlic Chicken
INGREDIENTS: * 1/2 cup margarine or butter * 2 cloves garlic, minced * 8 boneless chicken breast halves * 2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese * 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs * 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or 2 tablespoon dried parsley flakes * 1 teaspoon salt * 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper PREPARATION: In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter with minced garlic. Make a crumb mixture with bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Dip chicken pieces in butter; roll in crumb mixture. Place in a 9- x13-inch baking dish and bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.

INGREDIENTS: * 4 boneless chicken breast halves without skin * 1/4 cup all-purpose flour * 1/2 teaspoon salt * 1/4 teaspoon pepper * 1/2 teaspoon basil, dried * 3 tablespoons butter or margarine * 3 tablespoons olive oil * 4 to 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced (1/2 to 1 cup sliced) * 1/2 cup Marsala wine PREPARATION: Pound chicken to 1/4" thickness between 2 sheets of plastic wrap. Combine flour, salt, pepper, and basil; mix well. Heat oil and butter in a heavy non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Dredge chicken in seasoned flour mixture.Cook chicken until lightly browned on first side (about 2 minutes). Turn chicken and add mushrooms around the chicken pieces. Does everything have to be so hard? I was in Wal-Mart buying a large bag of Purina for my dogs and was in line to check out. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog........ Duh! Well....for those of you that may not know, my husband has been working in Iowa since early October...we live in Illinois. Anyway, he was able to take a week and a half off of work for the holidays and we were able to spend Christmas and the new year together...YAY! It goes without saying that the kids had a great holiday. They are kids, what do you expect? I cooked dinner on Christmas and we all survived!!! If I do say so myself, it all turned out VERY well! *pats self on back* lol Anyway....this year I also made out like a bandit! I got a new washer and dryer...the pedestal, front loading types...LOVE THEM!!! Plus, Troy also brought a brand new digital camcorder home for me...YAY...again! I love that little guy too!
